Episode 14: Cupid brings a Survivor
Hello everyone!
This week on the Joe Show we have a VERY special guest, a friend of mine Sarah Dawson from “Survivor: Philippines” has stopped by on Valentines day to discuss not only her experience on the show but the season premiere of “Survivor:Caramoan” as well! Listen as we go over what we saw in episode one, our theories on how Malcom could stay under the radar and her insights from behind the scenes of the show. Of course, we will discuss her infamous kisses of Jeff Probst as well!
“A Good Day to Die Hard” had a decent showing at the box office, though I am sure the studio expected a film from this franchise to do better. “Identity Thief” continues to do well financially and holds strong at the number 2 spot.
With the lack of any really compelling theatrical releases this week I go over my home video recommendations this week which include “Skyfall” and “Argo”.
In TV we see a strong showing from sitcoms this week with “Big Bang Theory”, “Community”, “Parks and Recreation” and “The Office” as well as the season premiere of “The Amazing Race”.
I hope everyone enjoys this extended edition of “The Joe Show” and hope to have more such interviews in the future!

Wow, I didn’t realize her name was Sarah Dawson. They always just called her Dawson on the show, if I remember right.
Still getting used to “Caramoan” being a thing. Just like “hey guys, we’re doing Kara!” in WoW. lol :X
I think Jeff Probst basically has a doctorate degree in psychology after 26 seasons of Survivor! lol
Bahaha, I just found a clip of the reunion kiss on YouTube and the smile on his face afterward is priceless. I’m glad his wife was okay with it because that’s what I thought when I saw it at the time too! :O
I’m glad y’all got to chat like this. I wish we could get more of the Real Person behind the characters on the shows, while the shows are on, because I know they edit it to show ‘em with a more drastic personality and Dawson seems a lot more chill and sweet than I remember them making her out to be. Thanks to both of you, from my inner Survivor fan ;D
